Knowledge Eco System at MindTree

In an interview with Alakh Asthana of eClerx Services, Raj Datta (Vice President & Chief Knowledge Officer at MindTree) elaborates on MindTree's much talked about knowledge ecosystem. Mr. Datta defines the ecosystem as four spaces within which MindTree's people interact to create value, these are: social space, virtual space, physical space, and mind space. Interventions deployed in each of the four spaces nurture a knowledge-oriented culture across MindTree. This essentially dovetails with MindTree envisioning that knowledge management ought to be less prescriptive than is generally assumed, and that KM should provide MindTree's employees with multiple avenues for cultivating knowledge.
