I got interested in Knowledge Management mainly through my working experience in market research, demand forecasting and corporate planning at SAIL (Steel Authority of India Ltd.), during 1985-2003, where my last position was Joint Director (Business Planning). I have been teaching courses on Knowledge Management, Strategic Management and General Marketing at business schools in Delhi since 2003. I conducted a Workshop on Knowledge Management at British Council, New Delhi in 2007, and I presented a paper entitled "Human Networking and Organizational Growth" at the World Conference of IFTDO (International Federation of Training and Development Organizations) held in New Delhi during 2004. The area of Tacit Knowledge is of particular interest to me. As a former student of History and Philosophy of Science, which I read for my M.A. at the University of Cambridge, U.K., I am interested in the philosophical and sociological aspects of organizational knowledge. I am a subscriber to Gurteen Knowledge.
