The Government has announced the unique ID project with Nandan Nilekeni as the head of the project. I am reading in news that he has already contacted Petroleum Ministry, Rural Dev Ministry etc to take advantage of citizen database available with them for the UID project. How can KM play a role in this unique and challenging project?

It would be a good reference source to have an openly available database on the net about the various k-experts in India and their profiles and capabilities ( Something like a who's who). Is such a directory avaialble?If not, is it possible to get together some people/ institutions to develop and update such a directory ?Would be interested to get the views of mebers of this community.See More
